Hanging in the art studio..!
Realism Eye drawing | study in graphite to keep my eye and skills sharp
“We are a Private Tattoo Studio. So if you are looking for a tattoo and landed here, please call or visit our website’s booking page to inquire about an appointment as we are typically by appointment only.” ~ TY
ah!! yes,
hanging in the art studio. sketched an eye on some scrap paper. seems like it’s been a min sense I’ve drawn for the sake of just drawing and playing in my art studio.
I pretty much am all consumed with my Tattooing projects, and this little moment refueled my creative world.. great vibes and best of times..!
MATERIALS USED:
Paper: Just some scrap paper on the lower end of the quality level. It is a drawing/sketch paper that was lying around the studio, it has a little bit more tooth to it than standard printer paper.
It worked perfect to quickly get into the zone and use that creative boost that hit me to just sketch.
Pencils: Just a mix of graphite pencils really. I used a 2B and 3B to put in the extra dark’s at the end, but mainly sketched and rendered the drawing with a graphite pencil labeled “soft.” Which is my main go to throughout most of my drawings as of late it seems.
Other drawing supplies: a few different style erasers to pull some highlights at the end, a blending stump, paintbrush, a reference image of an eye I liked.
If you have any questions about the supplies I like to use or how I go about using them. Please feel free to ask. I always love to help another artist that’s looking to try some other materials or techniques.
Gear: My Camera used for a final image and video clip below is a Sony a6500 with the 3.5-5.6/16-50mm power zoom “pancake” lens. Love this camera..
Help Support our Future Artists
So there are a few artists that I work with that are willing to help others level up with their art and or just have fun creating and come together as group to support one another. The funding is supported by these artists and the help from people like you, as well as businesses giving us a location to hold little art classes and event..!
If you are looking to support the Artist Community, you can donate Art Supplies to us at Endless Heights Tattoo to keep this community adventure in the Arts alive and thriving..! Check us out on Facebook @EndlessHeightsTattoo to find out more about us. You can reach out there or through my contact page and I will touch base with you to provide you with more information about what we do.
Help be part of our movement..!
You can either donate your time and help us keep the place fun and entertaining, you could give art supplies to replenish our shelves, or even donate money to help us purchase food, drinks and any art supplies.
Thanks so much for helping the Art Life stay alive..!
