Art For the Community | At The Orion Turtle

Orion Turtle is a communal event and learning space devoted to the arts and our community.

Just a fantastic place to hangout with all of the local artist as well as the younger next generation of artists.

Here we get to mix and mingle and hangout, exchanging information and techniques over a vast array of mediums… From drawing, acrylic, oil, watercolor, and gouache painting, to working with clay on an actual clay wheel or sculptural, lets not forget just plain scrapbook arts and crafts, or bead making for bracelets, necklaces, or whatever you can think up!

You can even sing for us and play on the drums or guitar if you “have no fear that is,” lol.

There is just so much to do here… Literally there is no stopping the creativity once you arrive.

Plus, there is normally live music from a fee of the local musicians, as well as, snakes and beverages..!

All of the supplies are free for anyone to use at the turtle. Supplies are limited to what is available and will always change as something runs out and is replaced with something new. Supplies are also available to the public as a first come first serve, as we don’t dictate what an artist decides to work with or create..!

So there are a few artists that I work with that are willing to help others level up with their art and or just have fun creating and come together as group to support one another. The funding is supported by these artists and the help from people like you, as well as businesses giving us a location to hold little art classes and event..!
